Attention! Air-supported Coal Storage Dome is an enclosed coal storage shed. Fire safety must never be overlooked. Today we have compiled a complete fire prevention guide for your reference!
✅ Thorough Daily Inspections
Check fire-fighting facilities inside the dome regularly every day, including fire extinguishers, fire hydrants and smoke detectors, to confirm they are intact with normal pressure. Special attention shall be paid to coal pile temperature. Prompt treatment is required once the temperature exceeds 50℃ to prevent spontaneous combustion!
✅ No Unregulated Operations
Open flame is strictly prohibited inside the shed. Welding and cutting work must be approved in advance with proper isolation measures, on-site fire extinguishing equipment and a fire watcher. Smoking is also forbidden. Safety lies in details!
✅ Regular Maintenance of Ventilation System
The ventilation equipment of the air dome shall be inspected and maintained periodically to ensure good air circulation and avoid accumulation of flammable gas. Shut down equipment immediately for troubleshooting if poor ventilation is found.
✅ Mandatory Emergency Drills
Organize regular fire drills for staff to familiarize everyone with escape routes and operation of fire-fighting gear. Stay calm in case of fire. Cut off power and air supply first, extinguish fire properly and evacuate personnel in order.
Safety matters, especially for special sites such as air-supported coal storage domes. Constant vigilance helps avert major hazards.
